How we run,
week by week.

The route may change. The pace doesn't. Here's what to expect on a Sunday morning — and everything you'd want to know before your first one.

The Basics

Short enough for breakfast. Long enough to feel it.

Distance 5–10 km Varies week to week
Pace Chatty ~5:30–7:00 min/km, ish
Duration ~60 min Sometimes shorter, sometimes longer
Start 08:00 Kingston Gate, usually
A typical Sunday

How it unfolds.

No warm-up drills. No team talks. Just a group of people showing up and heading into the park. Here's roughly how it plays out.

Bring / Don't

Kit is easy.

Do bring

  • Running kit for the weather
  • A phone, if you want
  • Water on warm mornings
  • A sense of humour
  • A friend, if they're keen

Don't bring

  • A race face
  • Expectations about pace
  • Guilt if you can't make it
  • A watch you need to check
  • Anyone who'll drop the group
First time?

You'll be fine.

We mean it — everyone was new once. You don't need to be fast, or fit, or wearing anything in particular. You don't even need to finish.
